Pat Wictor first burst on the folk and acoustic circuit as an inventive slide guitarist doing fresh and memorable versions of traditional and contemporary songs. In recent years he's become a well-regarded songwriter, writing material grounded in the rural country, gospel, and blues traditions of our nation. He's also known, along with Joe Jencks and Greg Greenway, as one-third of the harmonizing trio Brother Sun.
Pat's performances - part fireside chat, part meditation on matters earthly and transcendent, part foot-stomping blues--feature his originals. With flowing red hair and zen-like calm, Pat embraces his audience with the sincerity of his music and the clarity of his voice, inviting them in.
